I’ve been writing about interior design for 25 years. As well as creating my award-winning website Mad About the House (now on Substack) and publishing five books on interiors, I’ve renovated six houses of my own. I’ve also been a design consultant for a variety of residential projects – most recently a Grade-I listed apartment building in central London and a five star hotel in Palma, Mallorca, due to open in late 2025.
